
Though the Mayor admitted he made a mistake by proposing a flawed plan, he and the Chancellor have not given up on getting rid of the SHSAT and they will not take responsibility for preparing needy students.
He also continues to insult the low income minority students who work hard to get admitted by an objective test.
"People shouldn't be surprised if you get the same kinds of really, really unacceptable results, because there's a policy that excludes many many children in our city," Carranza said.
Other legislators like Assemblyman Charles Barron will be proposing total repeal of the law that mandates the SHSAT in the new legislative session in January.
