Thanks to you, we have come a long way from where we started. At first, Flushing was going to require 5 acres just to grow cannabis inside your own home. Now there is no land requirement.
Unfortunately, they are dead set on banning OUTDOOR GROWING. That is a direct conflict with the Michigan state law called the MMMA. Flushing will get sued if they cite anyone for growing cannabis outside while following state law.
They also think they have the right to come into your home and inspect your property if you're growing inside. They don't have that right, no matter how much they think they do.
We need people to come out June 10th @7pm to the trustee meeting and tell them to stop putting unreasonable restrictions on Caregivers. Calling them a home occupation is absurd.
Additionally, you can call the Township office 810-659-0800 and tell them to allow outdoor growing and no inspections!
