Toxic Fume Events happen every day on commercial aircraft. Please help stop these events.

The Issue

Flight Attendants from all around the world are working together to make flying safer for all.  We are trying to engage the Unions, Commercial Airlines, Pilots, Pilot Unions, Politicians, Health & Safety Governing bodies, Regulators and Enforcement Officials alike.  I am working with Flight Attendants from the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany to continue fighting for a safe working environment; not only for ourselves, and coworkers, but also for the traveling public.

You can support our international network of Flight Attendants, and their partner petitions in their respective countries, by clicking on the links for their petitions below:

Every day millions of people all around the world, board an aircraft which has become a normal way of transporation in every day life, but what they don't know is that their flight could land them in a hospital or with a debilitating illness because of exposure to toxic cabin air, including carbon monoxide poisoning due to contaminated bleed air!

It often begins with a headache; nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue, and often limb pain, which can be mistaken for jetlag or flu like symptoms.  However, long term neurological damage, damage to the nerves, lungs, and cardiovascular systems may follow as well as cognitive impairment.

How do I know this?  Because I am one of the growing number of people that have been affected.  I had to end my 4 year flying career in 2022, after 3 onboard carbon monoxide exposure events that sent me to the hospital.  (4/25/2019. 8/30/2019 and 12/13/2021.)  The last incident caused a seizure like episode.  My uniform was cut and removed from my body on the plane.  I was physically removed from the aircraft via a wheelchair and transported by ambulance to the emergency room where elevated levels of Carbon Monoxide were found in my blood, all 3 times, as a non smoker.  I have been advised by several doctors not to fly as it is too hazardous to my health.

You as a passenger, but also pilots and flight attendants, are at great risk of exposure to breathing contaminated air inside the cabin on any flight in most aircraft! The World Health Organization published a comprehensive study in 2017 about aircraft cabin air quality and the illnesses related to being exposed to the toxic fumes. "AEROTOXIC SYNDROME:  A NEW OCCUAPTIONAL DISEASE?" which shows a definite connection between inflight toxic fumes and health damage.

Aerotoxic syndrome: a new occupational disease?

Over many decades new victims have been added every day.  It is time to address the political leaders directly and demand change.  We need to demand Carbon Monoxide Detectors to be installed on all commercial aircraft by every commercial airline in operation. The poisioning of human beings on flights cannot be tolerated any longer.
