As residents of Albany, NY, we are deeply affected by the recent property assessment increases. it impacts everyone - tenants and landlords, store owners and service retail businesses. The current accessment threatens to drive up residential and commercial rents significantly. It scares away potential retailers and renters due to the sudden increase in rental rates.
