Situation Report: August 2018.
Thanks to you, Armando is getting on with life, happily experimenting with various antennas in his new home, unimpeded by council housing officials, hammering at his door and shouting "Take that Down!" He hopes they won't come back, but realises that at any time the situation could change. He still doesn't have the planning permission he needs to erect his modest garden radio mast to full height (30') so is operating at a reduced performance. With this in mind the campaign is still a work in progress, now with the following aims:
- Support Armando Martins and others through the public service, planning and legal aspects of their experience as illustrated by Nightmare Neighbours Next Door Season 5 Episode 8 to the satisfaction of its campaign signatories.
To make the point to public service organisations and support groups about the human and statutory rights of people in his situation, by exposing toxic behaviour and using information and education. - Ultimately to prevent further occurrences of the UK planning system being used as a tool to victimise people, poisoning their lives.
It's not Just Armando or Radio Hams. The Times has recently focused on the cost to the victim, when abusers devalue their property for example. The emotional costs are plain to see.
The campaign is warming up. As Armando has advanced plans to go to court we are about to launch a crowd funding appeal which is set to go on 5th September - watch this space.
