Two Corrections From East Bay Times Article.

Two corrections from East Bay Times article. The pipe is not a distribution feeder line but a high pressure natural gas transmission line. Please look at PG&E map (link below). Also, we all live in what's called a "high consequence area". It means where people live and children play. We need to wake up fast! As far as calling PG&E; good luck, they don't pickup the phone or return calls.
County Supervisor Candace Andersen, of Danville, said her office has
heard from only one affected resident, and she recommends people opposed to the cutting call PG&E. She also said she’s convinced the
pipeline is as safe as such gas lines can be and that discussions are
underway to make another pipeline — a Kinder-Morgan-owned petroleum products line parallel to the Iron Horse Trail through the San Ramon Valley — as safe as possible. That line suffered a fatal explosion in southern Walnut Creek in November 2004.
As for moving “distribution feeder main 3017-01,” Andersen said, “I’m
not sure there is an alternative that wouldn’t somehow impact people.”
