The University of Iowa school of art recently announced they will be offering an AI Art course for the upcoming spring semester. They announced this course on their instagram, and immediately the comments cried for the class to not happen. Both current UIowa art students and alumni feel disappointed in the school for choosing to promote the use of AI art.

AI is replacing traditional art based jobs in the workforce, to encourage AI art is to encourage for the careers of your future students to fail. We are hoping the University decides to change their mind and remove the AI art course.
