Punter Planet is a forum that claims to offer a platform for free expression, but it has become a breeding ground for misogynistic statements and unacceptable behaviour towards women in the Australian Adult Industry and sex workers. The forum allows posts that promote violence against women, enabling an environment that excuses harassment and stalking under the guise of "freedom of speech."

The content on Punter Planet is not just disrespectful—it is dangerous. It fosters a culture where abusers feel validated and victims feel silenced. According to a study by the Australian Institute of Criminology, 36% of women have experienced online harassment. Websites like Punter Planet contribute to escalating these statistics, encouraging users to engage in and perpetuate behaviour that targets vulnerable communities.

We need to hold online platforms accountable for the content they host and the discussions they enable. Removing Punter Planet would not only protect women from ongoing abuse but also send a strong message that misogyny and violence have no place in our society.
