Majority of Massachusetts students agree that standardized testing should be eliminated in the school system for good. These tests should not reflect us students on whether or not we should get a diploma over a test on a courses that will not have such impact for our futures. It is not fair for these test to have such an impact on students and affect them. There’s are students who are not good with tests but maintain excellent grades. The issue is even if they pass the course they’re in, standardized testing will have majority rule whether or not these students should graduate. We as students are forced to remember information we’ve learned in the beginning of the school and cram it all in a test that does not help us at all. This test was designed for the makers to earn money off of us students and are purposely trying to make us fail. I say we end this unnecessary testing.
