OneRepublic is a pro-Zionist, American pop-rock band that’s scheduled to perform a concert on Wednesday, 24th of January 2024, at Al Dana Amphitheater in Sakhir, Bahrain.

The band has publicly supported the Zionist entity on several occasions, most notably by visiting and supporting the occupation forces in 2015​, rejecting calls to boycott performing in occupied territories in 2022, and most recently voicing their support for the Zionist occupation during the ongoing Gaza genocide with an Instagram post.

Given all these facts, the people of Bahrain do not welcome OneRepublic’s presence in the Kingdom, and demand immediate cancellation of their scheduled concert. Bahrain has a long history of standing with the people of Palestine that stretches from the Nakba in 1948 to this day.

Hosting supporters of the Zionist entity is an act of condoning the grave human rights violations and horrendous atrocities they have committed against Palestine, such as ethnic cleansing and genocide. This is something we cannot accept.

Additionally, we are in a constant state of mourning for all the martyrs of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.  Out of respect and solidarity with Palestinians, any events or celebrations involving people who support the Zionist entity and this genocide must be canceled permanently.

فرقة ون ريبابلك هي فرقة بوب روك أمريكية تدعم الكيان الصهيوني علنًا وإنه من المقرر أن تحيي حفلًا موسيقيًا يوم الأربعاء 24 يناير 2024 على مسرح الدانة في منطقة الصخير في مملكة البحرين.

قامت الفرقة بدعم الكيان الصهيوني علنًا في عدة مناسبات وأبرزها من خلال زيارة ودعم قوات الاحتلال عام 2015، كما ورفضوا جميع الدعوات لمقاطعة الاحتفال على الأراضي المحتلة في عام 2022. إضافة على ما ورد، قاموا ون ريبابلك عن إعلان تضامنهم مع الاحتلال الصهيوني خلال الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة في غزة من خلال منشور تم نشره من الصفحة الرسمية للفرقة على الانستقرام.

وعلى ضوء ما ورد، فإن شعب البحرين لا يرحب بتواجد فرقة ون ريبابلك في المملكة و نطالب بالإلغاء العاجل لحفلهم، حيث يفتخر الشعب البحريني بتاريخ مديد يظهر فيه تضامن الاهالي البحرينية مع الشعب الفلسطيني منذ اول نكبة في عام 1948م، الى يومنا هذا.

استضافت مؤيدي الكيان الصهيوني يظهر نوع من أعمال التغاضي عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق الإنسان والفظائع المروعة التي يرتكبها الكيان الصهيونى مثل التطهير العرقي، الإبادة الجماعية، و جرائم كثيرة متعددة على جميع شعب الفلسطيني، وهذا أمر لا يمكن أن نقبله.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك، إننا في حالة حداد دائمة على جميع شهداء الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة في غزة. فإن من باب الاحترام والتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني ندعو شعب البحرين لإلغاء أي فعاليات أو احتفالات يشارك فيها أشخاص يدعمون الكيان الصهيوني والإبادة الجماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني بشكل دائم.

وعليه، إننا نحث الجميع على التحرك من خلال توقيع هذه العريضة لضم صوتكم إلى أصواتنا الرافضة لدعم المتواطئين مع الاحتلال وسياساته القائمة على التفرقة العنصرية والإبادة الجماعية.
