We, the members of the Frisco community, urgently request the closure of schools tomorrow, 1/16, due to the anticipated severe ice and cold weather conditions. The safety and well-being of our students, teachers, and staff are of paramount importance.

With weather forecasts predicting icy roads and dangerously low temperatures, commuting poses a significant risk to everyone involved. Closing schools would not only prioritize the safety of those traveling but also ensure that our educational environment remains conducive for effective teaching and learning.

We understand the importance of maintaining consistent educational schedules, but the potential dangers associated with the impending weather conditions cannot be ignored. By preemptively closing schools, you would be demonstrating a commitment to the welfare of the Frisco ISD community.
