Sub: Violations of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 committed by ‘JESUS REDEEMS / Mohan Lazarus’ - FCRA Registration No. 076160018

Respected Sir,

I would like to bring to your attention violations of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 committed by ‘JESUS REDEEMS / Mohan Lazarus’ - FCRA Registration No. 076160018.

JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus has violated Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 under two sections of the Act:

- Chapter II, 9 (e) (v) harmony between religious, racial, social, linguistic or regional groups, castes or communities.

- Chapter III, 12 (4) (f) (vi) harmony between religious, racial, social, linguistic or regional groups, castes or communities.

The way in which JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus has violated the above sections of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 is explained below:

JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus delivered a hate speech in Evangelists Conclave 2016 with an oblique motive to intentionally insult the Hindu Gods and Deity. The video recording of the same (https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1051495725028313&id=100005036850849) caught my attention just today. In the video speech JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus intentionally called the Divine Gods of Hindus as Satan, thereby intentionally insulting Hinduism and thereby bringing Hindu religion into disrepute, and further hurting religious sentiments of Hindus all over the world including me. The original speech was delivered in Tamil, English version of the same is as under:

“That is ... nowhere in India, you find palaces of Satan like in Tamil Nadu. You should know this. No other state in India has big big temples, places of Satan. In north India, some cities have Birla mandir, that is the only big temple built by Birla company for their fame, publicity.

If you go to Amritsar, you will see Golden temple, like this only very few places are in north India. Like Tamil Nadu, you don't find big big temples anywhere.

Why Satan is having strong hold, focus on Tamil Nadu. God explained me lot of things. I could see, how he strengthened his boundaries.

If you go to Kumbakonam, so many temples of Satan are there, Satan is strongly rooted there, you cannot understand, digest.

Yesterday I was at Kanchipuram, there god gave me power to enter Shankara mutt. When I entered 2 people were there. They were performing yagya, puja by burning silk saree and silk dhoti. After that, they were prostrating his feet. This root is nothing but human worship, but they talk of gopuram, power, temple etc for outsiders only. Everyone falling flat at his feet and worshipping him only. Like this I could understand many secrets.”

Being a priest and religious reformer, JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus was bound to respect the religious susceptibilities of persons of different religious persuasions or creeds but he got encased in vilifying the Hindu community and did propaganda by holding meetings and delivering hate speech. In his speech, he intended to insult the feelings of the Hindu community by denoting the PIOUS TEMPLES as palaces of Satan. It appears from his video speech that JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus with the help of some anti-social organization intentionally delivered the speech with an oblique motive to breach communal peace between Hindus and other religions in India. It seems from the video speech that JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus has been actively abetted by instigation and aid by the other persons and organizations.

It is hereby brought into your kind notice that abovesaid offences are committed by JESUS REDEEMS’s Mohan Lazarus deliberately, intentionally and maliciously outraging religious sentiments of Hindus and attempting breach of peace and communal harmony causing enmity, hatred and ill will between people of different religions and knowing fully that the said video speech shall bring Hinduism into disrepute and may also cause communal tension and enmity between religious groups. The speech was delivered with deliberate and malicious intention of outraging religious feelings of a community, which also amounts to an offence under Section 295-A, 153A, 153B, 295A, 505, of IPC.

There is a likelihood of public outrage and in light of the violations of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 by ‘JESUS REDEEMS / Mohan Lazarus’, we request your good-office to kindly initiate an enquiry into the matter and cancel the FCRA permission granted to ‘JESUS REDEEMS / Mohan Lazarus’
