Kwey, It has been three months since my section 15 Charter challenge was heard in the Ontario Superior Court in Toronto. During this time I have been busy writing and doing a few radio interviews. A recent radio show I did with Scott Neigh of Talking Radical Radio is a favourite. In this interview we discuss the sex discrimination in the Indian Act, as well as the work I do on the land claims process as the two issues intersect in interesting ways. Here is a link: http://rabble.ca/podcasts/shows/talking-radical-radio/2015/01/%EF%BB%BFlynn-gehl-centring-indigenous-knowledge In terms of my petition that you signed, I have almost reach half my goal of 5,000 at 2,444 signatures. This is great. Please continue to circulate the link: https://www.change.org/p/canadian-government-remove-all-of-the-sex-discrimination-in-the-indian-status-registration-provisions-of-the-indian-act-enough-is-enough As a measure to gain broader circulation of my work I created a new facebook like page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dr-Lynn-Gehl-Algonquin-Anishinaabe-kwe/1538081313097606 I am continuing to offer my fundraising book: Mkadengwe: Sharing Canada’s Colonial Process through Black Face Methodology. As I have said before proceeds help fund my work. Here is the link: http://www.lynngehl.com/3-mkadengwe.html I am also in the process of booking venues for The Truth that Wampum Tells Tour, offering a traditional talk about the 1764 Treaty at Niagara and Canada’s constitutional beginnings. If you are interested in bringing this work into your organization, friendship centre, university, or college as a host venue and motivated to assist with media sponsors and with speaking and travelling expenses here is a link to learn more: http://www.lynngehl.com/the-truth-that-wampum-tells-tour-canadas-constitutional-history-through-wampum-diplomacy.html Chi-Miigwetch, Lynn
