Ontario's MPP Catherine Fife is gathering partisan support for the right of residents to not be separated from their spouses due to the long-care needs of the other.

This should be a national issue, however, the momentum perhaps will come from each province. If approved in Ontario, perhaps other provinces will follow suit. This is a positive start!

Please sign the petition on Ms. Fife's website showing support for this bill and pass along to friends and other Canadians. We need to put pressure on all levels of government.
