Monday, Oct 17, TONIGHT at 5:30 pm (Cambridge City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, Sullivan Chamber) is an important meeting, where we have the opportunity to speak up about the Harvard Square Kiosk. National and local press outlets will be present. Please come out and support! Exciting developments are underway. We submitted the "Ten-Taxpayer Petition" to City of Cambridge to designate Landmark Status for the Kiosk. This is Cambridge's legal path to demanding protection, and is signed by the requisite ten Cambridge citizens. Also, there's such passion and joy pouring out on Change.org. City Councillors might initiate a Policy Order to support Landmark Designation of the Kiosk >Thursday November 3: Cambridge Historical Commission (CHC) vote on whether to initiate a Landmark Designation Study. If the CHC votes YES > there will be the completion of the Study, and a final Public Hearing, upon submission of the Staff's to vote whether to recommend starting the Landmark Study. City Council and City Manager ultimately decide. **It's very important that we all send in notes and write letters telling why we support the Landmark Designation.
