The Issue

Each year thousands of kittens are born into feral colonies in Ireland. Born into illness, neglect and horrendous conditions not all make it. For those that do, the cruel and never ending cycle continues.

Most rescues are exhausted from fire fighting in trying to bring the cat population under control. But with such limited and depleted resources it is just that; fire fighting.

I and the undersigned are calling on the Dept of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to fund a national Trap, Neuter & Return (TNR) programme to once and for all stem the tide of cruelty being inflicted on these poor animals.

The time to act is NOW!
