At many religious colleges and universities, LGBTQ+ students suffer discrimination, abuse, and hardship.

In the past couple of weeks, REAP have received multiple requests for REAP’s help from LGBTQIA+ students across the country.

At Spring Arbor University in Michigan, students are requesting help to bring attention to anti-LGBTQIA+ policies that discriminate against them. At Samford University in Alabama, students have asked for our support fighting back against the university for denying their rights to create a safe space group for queer and trans folks attending the school.  

These are just a handful of the many incidents taking place across the country where LGBTQIA+ students are fighting back against discrimination, and they really need help. Our Campus and Alumni organizing efforts are designed to assist these students and help protect them from discrimination and abuse.
