The speed limit on Westfield Road is 30MPH. This doesn’t stop people from driving as fast as they like.

A few years ago, my cat Tilly was killed on this road. A few years after, my other cat Remy was chased by a loose dog and hit by a bus. Just yesterday, my little kitten Bruce began to limp. The vet found that he had fractured his leg. I can only imagine that a careless driver was to blame.

I am calling for a speed camera or speed humps to be put onto my road. I cannot stand any more cats or potentially children to be hit by drivers not respecting the speed limit.
