Mammograms save lives BUT EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW:

Mammograms find some cancers but NOT all.

"Dense breasts" are normal and common and dense breast tissue can hide cancers.

After a mammogram, women with "dense breasts" need further screening such as ultrasound or MRI.

The UK routine screening programme for women with no symptoms offers a mammogram alone.

A normal/'clear' (no sign of cancer) mammogram result, does not reliably mean that cancer is not present.

When you attend a mammogram appointment, take this Density Request form with you:  https://densebreast-info.org/europe/density-request-forms/

                        ASK about YOUR BREAST DENSITY!

Without this information, you have #Only Half The Story
