Mammograms save lives. 

We are supporting BreastCancer Now (UK’s largest breast cancer charity) campaign, #NoTimeToWaste which is encouraging women of screening age to get their mammogram. 

We know that women with dense breasts benefit less from mammograms; if cancer is present, it may be missed. Breast Cancer Now do not make women aware of this.  

Therefore, along side their campaign we will run #OnlyHalfTheStory commenting on their posts on social media and reminding women about dense breasts; encouraging them to ask questions about breast density and trying to find out if they have dense breasts or not. 

Breast Cancer Now have launched a petition to ask government to ‘fix’ breast screening, see link below.
