As Sharks fans, we’ve seen the improvement this season. We’re within reach of a wildcard spot, and that has this fanbase excited. This rebuild is ahead of schedule, and if management doesn’t keep up, we risk wasting that progress.

Which is exactly why this is so frustrating.

Because it doesn’t feel like anything is actually being built on. Lines start working, then get broken up. Players get going, then get moved around again. It feels like we keep resetting instead of building. The accountability also isn’t consistent. Some players get benched right away, others don’t, even when the mistakes look the same. There’s no clear standard, and that’s not setting this team up for success. And game to game, there’s no real identity. One night we look competitive, the next it falls apart.

This is not a hopeless team.

We’re asking Sharks management to seriously reevaluate the coaching and decide if this is the right direction before this progress gets wasted.
