I first came across this case on TikTok, and it left me absolutely furious. I'm sick and tired of hearing about individuals who commit repugnant crimes only to receive a mere slap on the wrist. It's infuriating, not just for the victims and their families, but for everyone who believes in actual justice. This cannot continue.

Take the case of the three boys who raped a 14-year-old girl. They didn't receive a custodial sentence because they were considered "too young" and it was deemed "unnecessary to criminalise them." Yet they were fully aware of their actions. Disgusting! Where is the justice for the victim and her family in this scenario?

Now, we're faced with another distressing situation. Henry Nowak was attacked, only to be failed by the very officers who were supposed to protect him. The policemen and women who attended to this incident showed a shocking disregard for duty and should face disciplinary action and even criminal charges for their negligence and dereliction of duty.

We demand an immediate and transparent investigation into the appalling way Henry Nowak was treated by police. An independent body must be appointed to ensure fairness and objectivity. This is crucial not only to bring justice for Henry, but also to restore faith in our policing system.

Moreover, it is imperative to review the shockingly lenient sentences that are handed down to individuals who commit heinous crimes. The government must enact stricter laws and ensure that justice is served appropriately and effectively. Families deserve better, and victims deserve justice that is more than just symbolic.

It's high time for the government to act. We cannot allow a system that perpetuates "one rule for one" policing to persist. We must stand united and press for real change—starting with justice for Henry Nowak.
