VILE HARRASMENT OF AMERICAN TOURISTS EMBARKING A CRUISE SHIP IN NORWAY

We must stop this awful trend and rampant anti-Americanism that is emerging in Norway and Europe. 

Vile demonstrators from the Confederation of Trade Union, The Education Union, The Socialist Left Party and other leftists harassed American tourists embarking from the cruise ship Silver Dawn.  “MAGA Go Home!” “Fascists Go Home!” “Let it Sink!” the protesters screamed, while holding degrading and hateful signs. 

“This is an economic elite that wants to destroy our democracy,” local LO leader Vegard Tillerflaten shouted in his appeal from the deck of the ship, surrounded by protesters hurling insults at the passengers as they left the ship to tour the medieval city. 

“Using Trump and MAGA as a pretext to legitimize hate has become mainstream in Norway,” writes Bente Haarstad in Document News.

POWERFUL GROUPS

These were not fringe groups, but powerful organizations and political parties in Norway, cheered on by the leftwing media who daily spews hatred and lies about Trumps America and half the country. The largest trade union in Norway, LO, organized the protest under the banner A Massive ‘No’ to MAGA in Trondheim. The media had previously reported on alleged millionaires MAGAs, affiliated with Hillsdale College were coming to Norway. LO wrote: 

This summer, the ship Silver Dawn is setting sail for Scandinavia. This ship is loaded with American millionaires closely linked to the MAGA movement, under the auspices of a university/think tank that was behind Project 2025, the political plan to undermine democracy in the U.S., which the president is following. We want to show that such movements are not welcome in Trondheim.”

A heartfelt welcome was given yesterday when a ship carrying a group of M**A supporters arrived in Trondheim!, LO in Trondheim proudly wrote on its Facebook page after the protest: "Trondheim is an inclusive and generous city, which is why we believe that this movement’s ideology is based on the exact opposite." 

 

LO proudly link to an article from the communist newspaper Klassekampen titled "MAGA caught with their pants down. We're going to ruin their ideological vacation." The article is dripping with contempt for the American tourists starting its lead with: 

Maga tourists were told in no uncertain terms that they weren't welcome when they arrived in Trondheim yesterday. The Americans' response was, quite literally, their asses.

The Young Communists participated and proudly announced the demonstration was held to show that MAGA is not welcome in Norway or on the streets of Trondheim. We do not want American fascists in our country, they proclaimed. 

After the protest a branch of LO, Fellesforbundet, proudly announced they were in Trondheim giving the middle finger to Trump’s friends in the MAGA movement, posting photos from the event. 

The leftwing local newspaper  Adressa  hailed the event  in a story titled “We Chased Away MAGA" and said it was necessary.  Commentator Jonas Skybakmoen wrote:

“The activists played the American band Green Day’s ‘American Idiot’ over the PA system, and of course, it fit quite well.
One protester held a sign reading ‘Rats in 1349. Cockroaches in 2026.’ As is well known, a ship arrived in Bjørgvin back then, long ago.

The political party The Socialist Left were there, giving a big smile and a f*ck you to the Americans. Other parties on the left were in attendance, and everyone celebrated loudly how they stood up to American "fascists." 

BOYCOTT NORWAY

As a Norwegian living in USA, I say it is time to boycott Norway. Don't travel there and contact those in power to tell them what you think.

There are millions of Americans who have Norwegian heritage and are immensely proud. I am too proud of my heritage, but not of what my homeland has become.
