This week a group of dedicated lovers of the Kern attended the virtual State Water Resources Control Board meeting and appealed to the board to help bring back the river.

The petition was also sent to the board on the day of the meeting to show the broad public support this issue has. Your support of this petition made that message so much stronger, so THANK YOU!

We will continue to gather signatures until water is returned to the river, so please continue talking about the river and sharing the petition with anyone who will listen. This isn't a one and done issue. It has already been a decades long struggle, so we can't let up until Bakersfield has a river.
