Hello Essential Supporters!

On February 7th, CDPH & CDSS ended the testing mandate for vaccinated visitors for long-term care home residents. This was most certainly a win for all residents in long-term care homes and their vaccinated loved ones. This win was a team effort and, thanks to your signatures and shares, you were an important part of that effort!

Visitation requirements updated for Nursing Homes and Assisted Living homes:  CDPH All Facilities Letter  and  CDSS Provider Information Notice

However, we know the fight is not over. Long-term care residents still face daily violation to their rights in California. Let's tell CDPH and CDSS that it is not okay to impose duration and frequency limits on our loved ones' visits. 

We are still pushing back on CDPH's failure to get in sync with the most current federally sanctioned insistence on unfettered visitation as of September from CMS! 

Until our California health authorities fully reinstate LTC residents' rights for equal access and autonomy, we must continue this fight!
