Progress: Advocates Are Speaking Up For Fair Visitation

We're pleased to report that several advocacy organizations, including ours, joined CANHR (California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform) in a letter to CDPH Director Tomás Aragón yesterday. In the letter we call on the California Department of Public Health's Director to acknowledge that visitors are as important to resident well-being as staff and to give visitors the same access accommodations as staff to provide care and love to long term care facility residents. 

This is just one step in what is proving to be a long journey. We still need YOUR help to stop these unjust visitation barriers & ongoing inequities for our loved ones in long term care.
