Unfortunately, on March 12th, the California Coastal Commission denied our appeal of the permit for geotechnical testing of the land on the bluff. Signs have been posted which block off parking on/near the site and testing can proceed including a 5' wide x 5' deep x 350 long foot exploratory trench and 6 infiltration test pits and soil borings (some up to 250 feet deep). We are extremely concerned about this and are raising increased community support against the project. Please share our petition.
