I’m signing this petition to your organisation to demand the Cake International (Birmingham 2019) prizes awarded to the following individuals to be revoked immediately:

• Yao CHEN 陈瑶 (Bronze Prize, Class K) 
• Wei CHEN (Gold Prize, Class C)
• Sissi LIU 刘茜 (Gold Prize, Class O)

This group of contestants from China, led by Yao Chen, pressured the organiser (you) to disqualify an entry from a Hong Kong contestant, and threatened to destroy the cake in question. This kind of tyrannical behaviour cannot and should not be tolerated in a civilised society, and this group of contestants must have their prize revoked to preserve the integrity and reputation of your organisation. 

The above group of contestants have shared the details of their coordinated and politically motivated attack on freedom of expression, on the Chinese social media Weibo, in order to gain popularity among the Chinese far-right nationalist supporters. Their threat to destroy the cake is not only against the terms of your competition, but also against the common values of a free and civilised society. Their political motivated act of sharing a coordinated tyrannical act on social media is an effort to suppress other people’s basic rights, and such act must not be accepted.

I urge you to revoke their prizes immediately, and issue a public apology to the wrongfully disqualified contestant from Hong Kong.

本人要求貴組織立即取消/收回Cake International (伯明翰2019)頒發予以下個人的獎項：

• Yao CHEN 陈瑶 (銅獎, K組) 
• Wei CHEN (金獎, C組)
• Sissi LIU 刘茜 (金獎, O組)

以上這群來自中國的參賽選手，在參展期間向主辦方（貴組織）成功施壓取消來自香港選手的參賽資格，並且威脅可能會毀壞該參賽作品。這種強權的行徑不能被文明社會做接受。為保留貴組織的正直與名譽，這群參賽選手的獎項應當被立即取消。

這群參賽者多次利用中國社交媒體微博，分享她們聯合策劃的政治打壓行動，試圖在中國極左民族主義情緒支持者中得到支持。她們威脅毀壞蛋糕的作法不但違反比賽規則，也與自由文明世界的價值觀相抵觸。她們利用社交媒體分享有計畫的強權打壓的行為絕不能被接受。

本人要求貴組織立即取消/收回獎項，並且向來自香港被不適當免除資格的參賽選手公開道歉。
