Help us stop Rubbish from cafe 63 Redcliffe from reaching our beaches!

The issue

Here in Redcliffe we pride ourselves on the beauty of our beaches.

And we need your help!

Cafe 63 Redcliffe is located across the road from one of our beautiful beaches.

Everyday loads of their customers rubbish mostly the packets from their "free/complementary" biscuits, end up on our beaches and then into our oceans!

We have contacted cafe 63 and I have seen many community members posting on social media about their frustration in regards to this rubbish, the latest being today when I read one community members post that stated they collected 40 plastic packets in the garden infront  of cafe 63 Redcliffe.

As of yet nothing has been done.

This petition is to respectfully ask Hamish Watson along with management of cafe 63 to stop selling or giving away their biscuits in plastic packaging. We are asking that they replace the biscuits with unpackaged biscuits.
