Mustangs are amazing animals and if they go I go. And during the round ups horses can be injured severely. The horses are also separated from their family whom they love as much as we love our families. The mustangs are also often slaughtered to be served as gourmet food in places like France and China. The mustangs that are not adopted or sent to slaughter are shot in the head, put in one big whole,burned,then buried. Horses have thick skulls and often suffer a lot more than other animals do when shot in the head. Some are still alive when they are burned.
