The Bureau of Land Management’s National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board has recommended that nearly 45,000 wild horses be euthanized to help control their numbers.   

The 1971 Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act enables the government to move these wild horses to sustain the health of public lands. 

While we understand what the government is trying to do, there is no reason to round up wild horses in this manner.  In fact, sometimes they are done using helicopters and this separates families and also has a high risk of injuring the animal.  Not to mention they use stronger horses to "bait them."

Did you know that it wasn't the Indians who killed the buffaloes, but the government?  Colonel Dodge stated in 1867, “Every buffalo dead is an Indian dead." 

We will not let the wild horses be next!  We need to stand with them!
