Thank you to all the 36,000 of you who’ve joined this campaign to protect our pets and native wildlife from lethal glue traps. I know that together we can win this one. We need to put more pressure on Bunnings and Wesfarmers till it becomes impossible for them to ignore us.

While glue traps might seem like a safe and easy solution to pest problems but in fact, they are one of the cruelest and most dangerous products for non-target animals, including household pets. If the board is small, a larger animal may be able to pull it off, though they will likely lose fur, feathers or skin. Smaller animals, however, have no means of escape.

I have spent years rescuing small animals getting trapped and watched many of them die as a result. Bunnings has to take one small measure to help end this animal cruelty.

Please retweet so we can catch Wesfarmers attention and hold them accountable.

I hope escalating these stories will force Bunnings, and its owner Wesfarmers to reconsider their stance.
