As a concerned party, we see an urgent need for a significant increase in collaboration between families and schools. It's not just about volunteers for school activities - it's about including families in significant decisions that shape a child's educational journey.

National PTA identifies standards that can help improve the family-school partnerships. Welcoming all families, communicating effectively, supporting student success, speaking up for every child, sharing power and collaborating with the community. By implementing these standards in any school district there is a better opportunity that students can succeed.
