Dear Petition Signers:

In September, ABQ Parks & Recreation Chief Dave Simon confirmed that Bradbury Stamm had indeed broken ground for Add Alt 1.

Add Alt 1 is the official construction plan for a public indoor recreation and competition swimming pool, therapy pool and mechanical building for the North Domingo Baca Aquatic Center.

This photo was taken from the North Domingo Baca Multi-Cultural Center's west parking lot.

A $5.5 million Parks and Recreation Bond to continue planning, designing, constructing, and equipping the indoor Aquatic Center will be on November's election ballot.

I will vote YES on the bond. Please vote in November.

North ABQ's first public indoor swimming facility has been on the back burner since 2005.

In May of 2024, during a community meeting at the Multi-Cultural Center, we presented Mayor Keller with more than 1,000 signatures on our Petition. He listened to us. He became the first mayor to start the process of constructing the North Domingo Baca Aquatic Center.

I will vote for Mayor Keller. Please vote in November.
