I have emailed several members of the BMCC, including the council's lead architect as well as the members managing the Wentworth Falls Lake and Katoomba Masterplan projects.

I have shared the petition with them to demonstrate there is some level of community feedback. If you are still supportive of this petition please share it amongst your friends to help build more support.

Some good news is that the Wentworth Falls Lake Masterplan document does propose an outdoor nature gym, see page 12. I have suggested to the council that installing it in an area with direct sunlight could make it more accessible on cold days and for a bigger part of the year.

I could not find a specific council member managing the Blackheath Soldiers Park project but suggested to the lead architect that engaging the architects who are designing the children's play ground to also design and implement an outdoor gym could be a cost effective approach.

The Wentworth Falls Lake proposal looks very promising and is potentially a great location for an outdoor gym
