Hi, my name is  Stanley and I'm 11 years old. I love scooting and skating but the closest skate park is in Lloyd Park, which means we often have to drive there which burns fossil fuels. Wouldn't it be amazing if we had a skate park right here in St James Park?

The area behind St James Park at Low Hall is a perfect place for a community skate park. It would be a great and safe place for not just me, but many other young people i know.

I did google it and research has shown that skate parks can significantly contribute to reducing youth crime and improving mental health by offering an outlet for stress and a sense of community. 

I urge our new green local council members and community leaders to support this please!
