Many autistic individuals within the City of Buffalo are prone to wandering and running into streets without fear or understanding of danger. "Child with Autism" signs need to be easily accessible to families who have children in danger of being hit by a car or lost. Vehicles are more likely to slow down when they know that there is a vulnerable person in the area.

Being pro-active by putting safety precautions in place could potentially save a child's life.

Our hopes are that the City of Buffalo, NY will implement this safety precaution for their vulnerable, autistic population
