We are working on getting a checking account to begin to accept donations. There were more hoops to jump through than we thought so it took a lot longer. Hopefully, we will have it done by the end of the month. The council has given us a 40% discount of the value of the property. We have until the middle of May to raise the funds. To help with the fundraising, Meigs county grants administrator is working on a green space grant. This is not a guarantee, so pray it goes through!
