In an email to one of our SAVE LOWEWOOD MUSEUM campaigners LEWIS COCKING the leader of Broxbourne Borough Council made the following statement. “MANY OF THE ARTEFACTS CONTAINED WITHIN THE MUSEUM ARE NOT SPECIFIC TO THE LOCAL AREA AND ARE THEREFORE LIKELY TO BE OF INTEREST TO A WIDER AUDIENCE.”

Unless he has spent hours and hours going through the thousands of items stored at Lowewood then he is in no position or qualified .to make such a statement. 
This is yet another example of how little the Council care about the local history and heritage.
