TV Licence Protest - Cancel & Refund to take *DIRECT ACTION*
The Issue
Click one of the hyperlinks to Cancel and Refund your TV Licence in less than 2 minutes and leave a comment to the BBC expressing your concerns.
Following General Election 2019 significant questions have been asked across the entire spectrum of public opinion regarding the quality of political reporting provided by the BBC
There remain enormous question marks over the BBC's (im)partiality, (un)accountability, bias, audience selection, suspicious editing of footage, presenters' use of Twitter and social media, and myriad other concerns which have not been adequately addressed by the BBC.
Sadly, at this point, the only realistic way forward is for the British Public to remove the tacit support which the BBC receives through the to all intents and purposes mandatory licence fee.
The best way to achieve this is through Direct Action:
Cancel and Refund your TV Licence in less than 2 minutes and leave a comment to the BBC expressing your concerns.
If enough people take Direct Action, the powers that be will have to sit up and take notice rather than treating the UK electorate as passive consumers of BBC political output.
Funding
The BBC received £3.8 billion from the UK public in 2017/18
That's £3,800,000,000 from the licence fee costing £154.50 per household
The TV licence fee accounts for around 76% of total BBC income
