NHS nurses and healthcare workers deserve a pay rise and a substantial one, not just a token one in light of the pandemic.

It seems everyone else has been recognised as worthy but not the workers on the real frontline - who put their lives and their families lives in danger every time they went to work. Sitting with patients who were dying, holding their hands because there was no one else there with them and helping those who came through it to recover and go home.
