Apparently these medals mean nothing. 10 years of your life dedicated to serving your country, to protecting your county, to protecting other countries and putting your life on the line. 10 years of losing friends you regard as brothers. Meaningless even to the very people who gave the orders.
6 of our veterans are being left to rot in an Indian prison cell and our government is doing next to nothing to help them.
6 of our veterans are having to rely on charities to support their families, they are having to buy clean water daily to ensure they don't get sick, they have been denied medical treatment putting their health at risk and rely on friends, family, and strangers to send parcels to ensure they are fed.
The treatment of the #chennai6 is sickening, they've been abandoned by the company they worked for - Advanfort. They've been abandoned by the government they served. They've even been abandoned by the British media.
This is one of the biggest atrocities and miscarriages of justice our country has seen. Today many will not see that, but the day they are finally released people will ask why more was not done to resolve this appalling injustice.
Do what you can now, make a difference
Join us in London on the 12th of October when we will be delivering this petition to Downing street.
