BECAUSE the Canada Health Act states “The provincial and territorial governments are responsible for the management, organization and delivery of health care services for their residents.”

BECAUSE Health Canada and the federal government has disrespected cannabis patients for 25 years 

BECAUSE the federal government’s Recreational Cannabis Act neglects the needs of medical patients 

BECAUSE We are in a health care crisis and Johns Hopkins Medical Study (link) found that medical cannabis users were:

39% less likely to visit the emergency room
46% less likely to be admitted to the hospital
·9% reduction in pain scores and a 12% reduction in anxiety scores

·8% better quality of life on average,

THEREFORE WE THE UNDERSIGNED petition the government of British Columbia to; 

•  Provide licensing of small medical cannabis growers /cooperatives.

  * Provide walk in clinic access with certified  medical cannabis practitioners. 

  * Provide high dosage cannabis for medical purposes

  *  Provide affordable prices with no taxes.
