Dear Friends, I have not received any replies from SeaWorld yet regarding our calls for Morgan in Loro Parque to be released and reunited with her family in Norway. Whilst we're waiting for a response, the BBC is airing a Horizon Special this Sunday (17/4/16) at 9PM on BBC 2 on the topic of keeping animals in captivity. Liz Bonnin investigates SeaWorld Orlando as one of many places asking in particular whether "captivity drove one of their orcas to kill his trainer" (Tilikum). We can all imagine the answer from SeaWorld. What programmes like this show is that the public attitude towards zoos and other facilities is indeed changing. Let's keep the pressure on!!! So that's Sunday, 9PM on BBC Two.
