I Started this petition after finding out that Brita cartridges are recyclable through a company called TerraCycle. TerraCycle and Brita are already recycling Brita products and their cartridges in the USA. After contacting Brita Australia via their Facebook page regarding the TerraCycle program, the response they gave me is:

"...thanks for letting us know about this program. Recycling is a subject close to our heart as it works very well in the UK and EU but unfortunately we have not been able to garner the interest from consumers in Aus or NZ in various retail trials we have done in this part of the world."

I would like to show Brita Australia that the consumers do have an interest in recycling.
