We are very happy to be able tell you that there’s been a win for the community, waterway corridor and wildlife surrounding Salvin Creek. Brisbane City Council rejected TriCare’s controversial development application at 880 Creek Road, Carina Heights. TriCare wanted Brisbane City Council to drop the Environmental Protection Area designation and allow a private bowling green, along with built infrastructure (in addition to their earlier application). We are so very thankful for the support you provided to this campaign! We needed your voice for this to happen. As well as signing the petition, many of you also wrote to the local councillors and helped to raise awareness of the issue through various other channels. This is fantastic news for the local environment. Thank you again!
