The city of Brighton, Colorado has seen a significant increase in population over the years. Despite this growth, our community remains limited in terms of food options both in restaurants and grocery stores. One solution to this issue is the introduction of a Trader Joe's store into our neighborhood. Known for its affordability and popularity among diverse demographics, Trader Joe's would be a welcome addition to our city. According to Statista, as of 2020, there are over 500 Trader Joe’s stores spread across the United States serving millions of customers (Statista). Yet Brighton remains underserved. Having a local Trader Joe’s would not only provide more variety but also cater to different dietary needs and preferences within our growing community. We urge the city officials and relevant stakeholders to consider this proposal for the benefit of all residents in Brighton.
