As passionate fans of the Strike TV series—based on the novels by Robert Galbraith—we were thrilled by the BBC’s adaptations of Troubled Blood and The Ink Black Heart. However, we are disappointed that these recent installments were not made available on DVD or Blu-ray, unlike earlier seasons of the show.

Physical media matters for many reasons:

• Permanent Ownership: DVDs and Blu-rays offer lasting access, unlike streaming licenses that can expire.
• Accessibility: Not everyone has reliable internet or access to BBC iPlayer or digital platforms.
• Collectability: Many fans have collected the previous Strike series on DVD and wish to complete their sets.
• Special Features: Physical editions often include behind-the-scenes content and other extras.

We respectfully urge BBC Studios and Warner Bros. to release both Troubled Blood and The Ink Black Heart on DVD and/or Blu-ray—so that fans worldwide can continue to enjoy and support the series in full.
