As someone who grew up playing this incredibly charming game, I find it perplexing and a bit disappointing that Nintendo has not yet brought this beloved classic to the Nintendo Switch 2. The console's modern capabilities, including its microphone feature, would make it the perfect platform for such an interactive and heartwarming game.

Nintendogs was more than just a game, it was a worldwide phenomenon that allowed millions of gamers to experience the joy of nurturing and training their digital dogs. With its original release, it sold millions of copies and captured the hearts of players everywhere. Imagine the potential a renewed version could have, taking advantage of the Switch 2’s advanced graphics and interactive features.

There is a severe Nintendogs-shaped hole in the switch game lineup. Knockoffs do not compare to the magic and community  that the original games once brought. 
Pet ownership games continue to be popular today, and "Nintendogs" would be a hit on the Switch 2, creating new memories for a whole new generation of players while giving longtime fans a nostalgic revisit. Its return is not just a good business move but a gift to millions of fans who have cherished their time spent with their virtual furry friends.

Nintendo online is also the perfect opportunity to lean into some new multiplayer features.  Puppy playdates, meeting others on walks, bark mode, etc. 

Nintendo has a track record of reintroducing and adapting its classics to newer systems, recognizing the lasting impact these games have had on their players. Bringing back "Nintendogs" would continue this tradition of celebrating the beloved games of the past while updating them with modern technology.
