There are two main editions of the video game Minecraft. In one, Bedrock Edition, builders and redstoners have the ability to push blocks such as chests and dispensers with pistons- this is known as moveable tile entities. This is not available on Java Edition, leaving millions of players without this amazing tool.

It would be trivial to add this into the game- one of Minecraft: Java Edition's own developers, gnembon, included it as part of a mod he developed before working at Mojang, Minecraft's developer.

Mojang can and should bring moveable block entities to Java Edition now- they recently added the Crafter, another long-requested feature, to the game. Moveable block entities are an amazing tool that Mojang has the ability to add, and would further advance their mission to bring parity between versions.
